Default FT Accuracy Challenge

Hey all, as part of the 8th annual Larimer County Fishing Expo (Mar 31- Apr 1 this year), we're hosting the Fishful Thinker Accuracy Challenge. It's free to enter and has solid prizes including a St Croix rod, Costa shades, Abu Garcia reel, Berkley lines and baits and gift certs for a couple of Loveland eateries; Henry's Pub and SportsStation. All indoors, 5 targets ranging from 15-65 feet. This should be fun and competitive, with open practice times and instruction if folks want it. Sign up link is below. Hope to meet a bunch of you there! CL

I regret to admit that I am no longer able to cast with accuracy.

Have fun at the expo boys.

Thanks for watching, James. I don't have much info on the expo other than Mar 31-Apr 1, The Ranch Complex, still free, Nate Z., Dan Swanson and I will give presentations throughout the day. Mine are "Horsetooth from shore" and "Dealing with the busy days"...a rundown on multi-species patterns that hold up to boat traffic. The Accuracy Challenge should be fun even to watch people practice, and I'm hoping for some good ol' fashioned competition.

Shaun, you can be in charge of enthusiasm CL

What about a giant swimbait casting contest? Anyone who can drop a bait within 6' of a target that is 120' away wins!

Unfortunately, no fly tackle due to the facility. We're backed up against a wall and casting to the other end of the building; no room to backcast . CL

I am entering Stan Faggerstrom to cast for me by proxy...at least I think that used to be his name at the sportsmans shoes...he could hit those little coffee creamer cups from a good distance...
