Default Suggestions on portable battery chargers

My old battery charger finally died. I have a 2x12v battery system for my electric troller and was debating on either

1. Portable Minn Kota MK 210P - about $100 a 2 bank portable charger with multi stage charging but no trickle charge or
2. Schumacher SC-1000A - 1 bank protable charger multi stage with trickle charge. $50 and I could buy two of these for each battery.

Anybody have any experience with these or thoughts? Thank you.

I have that Minn Kota charger, and have ran it for seven years without any issues.

Recommended.

I am going to second the Minnkota, and I am 90% sure you get a maintaince stage on the portables. The only thing I would say is if you have short nights a 5 amp charge won't get you 100% if you run your battery's way low...

Get a two-bank, and maybe up to 10 amps each. I have a Dual-Pro and love it. Just plug it in and forget it! Always fully charged. From completely dead to 100 percent in 12 hours.
