Default General information about Pueblo

I spend most of my time in the northern portion of the state and have been itching to try some new water this year with the new boat. Any general information about pueblo would be appreciated, Better launch ramps, hazards that may not be well marked and any general fishing info you feel like sharing though there is plenty of that available by searching.

I'll be coming from the Longmont area and like to fish from the bow, pitching jigs, worms and using jerkbaits for bass, walleye and wiper. If the wife comes along, she'll like to troll but I'll probably be solo this time around to get the feel of the place. Will probably look into camping there as well later in the year if it looks to be worth the drive.

Thanks for any info,
Brett

Right now i would keep an eye open for floating logs, on the west end there are a ton of lg cottonwood trees and im not sure if they have the no wake markers out on the lake yet, depending on water level ship rock can be a very haz area, early in the year id target main lake points, or as far west as your willing to take your boat, I,m very hit or miss at that lake ,get out there, it should turn on any day now. I will be there this sat and sun so i should know more then. Good luck

Thanks DBM.. Not sure where ship rock is yet but I'll be getting a map of the lake before heading there.

What is the water temp and level looking like?

How has the walleye spawn been doing at Pueblo?
