Default Reuter-Hess Reservoir

Looks like we're one step closer to having a new reservoir. Might be a good idea to get GPS coordinates of structure, dropoffs, etc, before it fills.

What a shame...a new reservoir that's twice the size of CC and they aren't gonna allow normal boating...figures.

Actually it isnt twice the size of Creek...50 percent larger...or 1.5 times the size of Creek...at least I think that iswhat the video said...Aurora is like 640 acres...Creek I think is 880...which means this place will be 1200 acres about twice the size of Jurassic Pond (Aurora)...I am stoked...Jurassic Pond 2...I love sequels...no jet skiers, no water skiing, no pollution...just deep clear fish producing water...with sailboats and sailboards...we have two gas powered zoos in Creek and Chatfield...now we will have two peaceful zones in Jurassic Pond and Hooter Best Reservoir...yeah baaaaaybbbeeeeee!!!...

And I know I have read it somewhere...I think non motorized is no gas power but electric is ok...

Electric would be cool...That'll be the closest lake of any size to Monument.

Very, very cool to hear that it will be e-boat only. I posted a long, passionate and (I hope) eloquent argument for electric only on the suggestions page. You can all throw tomatoes at me.

I loves me some no water maggot having lakes.

will be a windy mug I bet...

I thought Aurora was 840?

Either way, from what I saw in the vid...looks like every other res here..big, structureless bowl.

I'm excited though.
