Default Opinion's on Minn Kota Co-Pilot?

Hi all, it's time to replace my foot controller for my trolling motor and I am looking at this http://mk.factoryoutletstore.com/det...6/1866150.html do you all like them or should I just stick with the foot control? Thanks, Darrin.

Absolutely, get the auto pilot too. One of our members just posted this. I'l relatively certain it will fit your motor.

Won't work on the Power Drive V2. That's for a Terrova.

I've used both a foot pedal and the co-pilot's hand control and liked both. Which you will like bettrer will likely depend on the type of fishing you do most.

If you crawl along and cast to shorelines a lot, the foot pedal is indispensable (or it is to me, any way). Too much changing direction, speed, stopping, starting, etc., for a hand control.

But if you primarily troll or work open water without doing a lot of the above, the hand controls are great. For the best of both worlds, get the wireless foot pedal, too.

Thanks, exactly what I needed to know. I will go with the wireless foot pedal.

Be aware, with the wireless foot pedal you still need the CoPilot setup on your motor!
