Did you use a boat, and lindy rig the road bed. Did you try trolling the channel with leadcore and small cranks. That lake is tough to fish from the shore.

You may have luck fishing the dam at night with jerkbaits from shore.

YO: slayerfish I can use all the suggestions you or anyone can give me. At night I have tried a slow retrieve, fist retrieve, pause/float the lures, I have used a shad- rap#7- a- husky deep- a new x-rap, and castmasters of all colors and weights. I HAVE NEVER CAUGHT A WALLEYE IN MY LIFE.

how about a lindy rig? for walleye? thats always worked for me at p-lo. not sure about at chatfield. but id think a walleye is a walleye. lindy rig with worm or a chartruese gulp with yellow jighead works too for me.

Give up fishing for walleye at chatfield. Fish the spillway at john martin with charteuse mr. Twisters.
