Default Digital Camera for Fishing (Finally got ONE)

Alright, alright.. Last year, I used disposable cameras to get my fishing pictures. The quality of those were somewhat OK most of the time, but other times, they weren't all that great. I would take the film roll to Walgreens and then pay an extra $2.99 for a CD album in order to get any pics posted. Recently, I went to Wal-Mart and found the Kodak EasyShare V530 5 MegaPixel camera on sale for $199. Checked out Best Buy & online sites and found that this camera was still goin for around $250 to $300 so I figured the price I was getting it for would be a steal.

Bought it and boy am I glad I finally got this. I should have went this route a long time ago... Very nice picture quality so far. Got a few pics saved from the past few prospecting trips I've taken to 'test the bite' that I'd like to share. What do you all think of my camera's pic quality? I'm thinking along the lines of sharpness and all the things that the photography snobs would look for and rate...

Sharpness and image quality look very good. (At 5 MP it should look good.) One thing you have probably already discovered is that the flash doesn't carry very far, so don't shoot subjects too far away when there's no sunlight.

Good pictures!

I take so many pictures and so many of them are crappy that paying for prints suck. Now I just print the ones I want. Man I love digital.
