Default Wolford

Headed up Mon. to give it a shot. Any late advice ( recent success stories ) would be appreciated. I will file a report when I get back so wish me luck.

OK, so I'll answer my own question. My wife and I hit Wolford on Tues. the 19th. It was slow for us as we trolled for 5 hours ( before the wind tried to blow us away) and caught only 3 kokes and two small bows. We tried the suggested needlefish , wedding rings and dick nites, both with pop gear and without and the action was very slow. The ones we did catch were shallow ( 2 to 3 colors of leaded line). We did talk to a couple of guys, when we came off around noon, and they had done better, basically trolling silver popgear trailed by orange wedding rings at around 3 colors. They were fishing in the area directly east of the boat ramp. Good luck if you go and watch the wind.

Hey kk, let me know how you do. I certainly haven't given up on the place. According to Jon Ewert there are a lot of kokes in there and the fishing should be good until they start taking the res. way down.
