Default kid fishing

The grand kids are coming!!!
Ages 7, 8and 11.
Want to take them fishing. Any suggestions on where I can take them within 1.5 hrs of Denver?
Prefer trout and have a canoe. Kids just want to go fishing.

http://wildlife.state.co.us/Fishing/...ingReport.aspx is usually worth looking at. Looks like not much this week, but look at the reports on the bottom. Recently stocked trout are typically easy to get with velveeta, powerbait, or various spinners. Kids Fishing Pond in Boulder off of Canyon can be pretty good with velveeta too.
