Default Looking for some general info about Monument and North Lake in Trinidad?

I am heading down to Trinidad for Saturday AM 07.14.12 and going to be fishing Monument Lake and North Lake west of Trinidad. I am a spinfisherman and use fly and bubble, lures, and bait. I am looking to find out a general starting point for location and also find out what species are in them. Any help is much appreciated.

I'd start along the shoreline, near the dam, where there is fish holding structure.

North Lake is artificial flies and lures only...Splake, browns, and rainbows...you'll catch mostly rainbows...the shoreline can be really muddy if the water is down at all...Monument Lake...Kokes..probably won't catch any...rainbows...stocked for the guests...powerbait and hardware from the banks should work out all right...never fished it...but talked to the owner a couple of times.. I'd stay in Trinidad and fish for cats myself..
