Default Aurora Res. motor rules

Have not been to Aurora for about ten years... Does the 'lower unit" on your motor need to be completely out of the water?
Or can you drag part of it below the water line?

You can drag it. I know of a few guys that have the trolling motors that mount on the lower unit. Kind of cool, it allows you to run the boat as if it were on the gas engine, except slower of course.

I think it is still up on the sign by the boat ramp that you have to have the motor out of the water but they dont enforce it.

That does seem strange that they are lax on this one. I know that it is the case though.
