Default Loveland Lake to be drained!

Another great fishery to be lost to this drought...

This, put simply, blows. Loveland Lake is just a few minutes from my house and its been my home lake for a decade.

Alot of lakes are going dry-I was down at Brush Hollow a week ago and its very low. Don't know if its going to go dry but almost all of the lake was 10 ft or less. Little deeper at the dam.

Guess it all depeends on whether these lakes have a conservation pool level and that they can't pull water after thats reached.

One of my favorite lakes. I hope the fish can survive the drawdown and they can keep it at conservation pool as kirby said.

I hope it will not kill for all the Loveland/FoCo folks. Pretty good lake, first place I fished when I moved to CO. It drew down HARD like 18 years back or something, and I don't think it killed.

Always ice perch there 2 or 3 times a season.
