I caught a 12 incher out of there last summer. I've fished there probably 50x in the last 3 years and that's the only one I've ever caught.

The largemouths seem to be much more prevalent.

i've caught a lot of smallmouth out of one of the walden ponds (walden and sawhill are pretty much the same property)
i should also note that was a good 8 or so years ago.

Ive only caught largemouths out of that particular group of ponds...and ive fished it for some time now...so i must not be doing something right. a lot of the ponds i used to fish there have "matured" and are now too shallow to hold many fish, but some of the other ones there that appeared not hold anything in the past are now are fishable. its a great place...but constantly changing.
