Default Tiger Muskies

I am new to the area and heard that Tiger Muskies were stocked at some ponds and lakes on the front range. After doing a little reading up, it sounds like they are no longer stocked (circa 2006). So am I wasting my time trying to catch em?

5,000 eh.... I wish
Try like 50,000 lol
I have fished pretty hard for them the last 4 or 5 years...
I have averaged 1 a year for about 5-8 trips mostly for tigers a year. Don't targeting them here until they stock more.
If I'm at a lake that has them... I will throw some for them but not spending 6-10 hour days going after very few fish here anymore.

last time i tried for them at Bear Creek I ended up with one hell of a small mouth, I agree with chadfish and boondock......... The biologist for Dillon keeps mentionoing that he wants to stock them in Dillon, but we might all grow old a feable by the time that happens.

DOW is trying to restart the program on their own, instead of importing fingerlings from other states. Here's a link.

If someone wanted to be an illegal-beagle, they'd throw some freakin pike, walleyes and smallmouth in that lake.
