World Record Walleye?

I may be wrong? But I thought I read in InFisherman that the 25lber from Old Hickory was proven to be mathmatically not possible and that most record keeping orginazations now list a 22 lb eye from Greer's Ferry as the record?

Re: World Record Walleye?

while in Tenessee I fished the hell out of old hick for striper and got to talking to some of the locals who would tell tales of such a fish....but even there good ole boy southern stories of such a fish never had it pegged as a world record. Having fished that lake religiously for the last year and a half....the best walley I ever saw or heard of in recent days barely topped ten pounds
