Default 11 mile first timer

Next week I going to 11mike res. for the first time I want to target northern pike I probably won't bring the boat. I am wondering how is the shore access and where should I go? and if anyone has any suggestions on tactics for pike.

Me three, I plan to go up 9/10-9/12. Wondering where to fish from shore for pike. Also bringing my float tube. Can Kokes be caught from shore or a tube? What do you use for kokes I have never fished for them before? What are good lures and baits for pike? Is night fishing worthwhile for them? Tons of questions. Any suggestions as where to camp? I appreciate any help. I am new to the sight and have enjoyed the info I have taken from mainly reading others posts.

I would try around the stoll mountain area for pike, it is a good spot for them.
For bait pick up some frozen sucker minnows and use them whole from shore.
Lures* try a daredevil, or do a search on this site for 11 mile pike as it will bring up a lot of other good info previously written. Pike are mainly in the shallows and best times are the middle of the day to catch them. Bunny flies also work well if you know how to use them.

Hope this helps...
