Default anyone work on older mercury outboards ?

Need some help with this motor 1969 mercury outboard 65 hp anyone that knows how to service please respond thanks .

I do all my own mechanical work.As far as a professional mech,the yellow pages?An engine is an engine,as for the gearbox,you need special tools.

A lot of people have recommended Crowley Marine in east Denver. Apparently they do a pretty good job.

I took mine to a shop on Sante Fe this spring and it took a month to get it back. So naturally I have not been impressed with that shop. Granted it had some unusual problems with some modifications that were done before I bought it but the lack of communication made me very frustrated.

i have the the soloc manual for mine, 1967 65 hp but it also covers yours, what do you need?

A copy would be great where did you get yours ? For now if you could tell me the oil gas mixture 50/1 or 40/1 ? type of plugs , any helpful info you think I would need. Thanks alot
