I just took all the panels off to see the belt..........still there and in tact. Everything works when you plug it in.............except the motor is not turning the drum. Is there a key that may have sheared on that shaft?

Well............I took an hour nap after fishing until 3:00 am last night............and was awoken by my wife saying she bought a used dryer with a new heating element and it would be here in 10 minutes. For 75$ they took my used one and dropped off a damn-near new dryer........maybe I should sleep more often! Thanks anyways for the offers/replies. I should have kept the old one so I could take it apart and "learn" those things for future reference.
