OK, you got my interest up
so I started looking up links on this thing. Very cool! It's a slip form for making an igloo(!). Designed by a guy in Ft. Collins for winter camping. Takes two guys about three hours to build a 7 foot round igloo, 6 feet tall. You pack the form with snow to build bricks in layers until you have your shelter. New at REI online for $175. Just think, if ice fishing was slow you could build a shelter that would last until spring! Finally, a way to beat the wind in South Park!
I know, shelters in Colorado have to be temporary, off the ice by nightfall. Still, might be fun.
