Heading up this weekend. Any one been up fishing?

stopped at the nearby shop yesterday. lots of fresh walleye pics. many of the eyes were taken on leeches judging by the pictures.

The fish may still be in and around muddy bay and airport either in the trees or on the edges of the weed flats. For good eater size fish rig and jig around goose island. Slow death around sandy beach area is usually good this time of year also.

all the shops have leeches at about $3.50 a dozen

thanks a lot for the info! leeches the best way to go? or crawlers work as well?

How about night fishing? from shore?

I really do appreciate the info already.... this will help a lot!

I was there two weeks ago and the fish were relating to weeds. It was a morning bite with hardly any afternoon bite. We got them pulling spinner rigs with worms.
