Feeder Kings, just like all the Whales around they come for the bait, their stomachs are loaded with it.
Most are hatchery fish from the Pnw and Canada and they keep raising the numbers stocked.
Close to half are adipose clipped, we get a few White ones that are known to come from a few tributaries of the Fraser River, BC.
Thank you Canada!!

Indeed, we were just talking about this the other night. We had some heavy weather, and most of my boats were harbored up and we decided to grill up a bunch of their catch from over the summer at their various fisheries, Copper River and Bristol bay sockeye, SE halibut, black cod, Fraser spring kings, some white king from Puget Sound, prawns, bacon wrapped scallops, and Oregon albacore. Twas a feast for sure. The tuna and Fraser fish were hands down the stars of the night.

Sounds mighty good, Tuna is one of my favorites to catch and eat, I'd love to try the offshore Albacore fishery.
We'll be in Hawaii in Nov. and hoping to get into the Ono (Wahoo) my numeru uno.
