Milford lake is awesome and my old stomping ground. I grew up in junction city and fished that lake everyday as well as the republican and smoky hill rivers. The fishing is always great and you never know what you will catch next. The Madison creek area as well as behind the Milford city cemetery offer great Crappie opportunities. Glad you were able to experience Milford lake. It is one of the best kept secrets in the state of Kansas.

Nice lookin slabs there tine. I didn't make it out there to turkey hunt, so I missed the spring fishin at Milford. On a side note, I here the saugeye and walleye out at Tuttle are on fire. Might want to check that out!
