Default First trip to Big Mac

We're going next weekend. I've never been and its been years since my hubby went. Anything I should know? I plan on getting a tourist license, what should I plan on fishing for and where? I know the guys will be doing tons of water skiing but I'm hoping to talk them into some fishing too. Are there any regs with the boat that I should know about? Obviously clean, drain, dry still applies but anything else? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Good time to hit Mac. The catfish are going good now I have been told. The white bass should be starting busting on the surface soon.

Good luck and have fun
