Default Homer Ak

Took a little trip North to the kenia Penn. Spent most of the time in Homer ( a small drinking town with a big fishing problem) with El Capatian Nemo. Rumors of him living the good life are under estimated! Just when we got in to Homer the Feeder Kings from BC moved into the area. These kings come up from Canada and feed up around the cook inlet, thus the name "feeder kings". Day one we limited on halibut and proceeded to king fish, the action was the best Ive ever experinced, when you can only get one downrigger down at a time because "fish on", we filled out on 5 king limits and some tasty butts to bring home. My kids had a trip of a lifetime. What a place for a fisherman to live, work would be tough around that placee to many fish and places to see! how about that Creel survey gal, I think they have to have a night job to live in AK

I am glad somebody gets to fish. Absolutely incredible.

Glad you and the family had fun.... Yeah this place makes Colorado look pretty small and boring....canning and smoking salmon now and listening to the seagulls squawking. Feels like Hawaii..

Too cool! Sounds like a great time! I never get tired of the Homer reports and the Captain is living the good life for sure.
