that is pretty awesome. so, not to start any controversy does that sunfish go by another name? reason I ask is there is another sunfish that is an ocean fish? Also known as mola. again, not trying to be Richard cause that is an awesome fish for sure!

No clue, but when I looked up mola's I didn't see any that looked similar. Mola is a genus and covers most ocean sunfish

It may be a red ear or as they call them down south Crackers as they like to eat shelled food, In Havasu they eat zebra mussels.

I do know of a salt water sun fish which is totally different, not sure if that's whatcha mean....

Man I bet a give pound sun fish would out fight many fish twice as heavy!

That is a shellcracker... Definitely a sunfish, and they love eatin' them zebra mussels!
