Anyone know the history of Aurora reservoir? I grew up in Aurora and left in 1966 for school and military. I don't remember any reservoir out in that direction. Either we went to Cherry Creek or up to the mountains to fish. Has the reservoir always been there or was it constructed sometime after the 60's or 70"s?

Not sure what you are calling a WAP? My boat does not have portable tanks in built ins. I am able to get my motor completely out of the water with power trim and a hydraulic jack plate. Would that suffice? Thanks!

Buck, the WAP is the water pass to get your boat inspected before launch. I think it is $10.00 one time charge per season. Your motor out of the water is fine, unless you have the motor mounted electric motor...and if you don't have one and would really love to have one let me know...boy do I have a deal for you!!!

Hey all,
If some of you have tried to call in to the Aurora Reservoir/Ranger line lately you might notice that it has been disconnected, the new number is 303.326.8425. Also I know some people have had trouble with our registration system for the Fall Fishing Classic as well as some other city events, we are posting up a much more simplified registration that should go live tomorrow. Sorry for any inconvenience, if you have any questions let me know.

Mrwigglestheworm,
We have no intentions of cancelling, we just had some concerns that registration was a bit too cumbersome and switched it to something more palatable and user-friendly. I'm excited to see this year's Fall fishing Classic and luckily we are one of the few metro-area fisheries that haven't been too affected by the drought conditions that have been plaguing the area.
