Default bearcreek lake cleanup

for those of you that haven't paid attention bearcreek lake park was flooded badly by the rains. the lake is starting to drop and weds from 2pm to 6pm the are asking for volunteers to start the cleanup process. this is the first of many but it would be nice to see a decent turnout from the colorado fisherman site. i just know there are many of you that fish this lake both open and ice and i just know you'd like to give a little back. ill be there hope to see you.

Let them know that if there is some coordination in advance for a date or dates in the future, then CF will certainly come out in numbers.

Wish I could make it, busy as heck with work. If there is something down the road I will get out there. Please keep this thread updated with any future clean ups there this fall, that is a great little lake......but it has no fish in it

Drove by on 285 this afternoon, and whacked some pics.

Still pretty damn full.

I thought I'd post a couple of photo links.

The second is a crappy attempt at a stitched panorama. Hard to do while driving by at 60mph. Came out OK, but it certainly is big. Something like 40MB.

You can see it's come down quite a bit, just look at the staining around the shoreline and in the trees.

They're still dumping like mad, but it's going to take a while to get back to 'normal' levels.
