In your pocket there is the chance of losing it. I speak from experience.

My dad made a shadowbox of some of his grandfathers belongings and hangs it on the wall. In the shadowbox is one of his pocket knifes, a pocket watch, a pack of wrigleys gum (all three were in his pocket at all times) and a picture of his grandfather with one of his bird dogs. Its a nice tribute that hangs next to my dads gun cabinet and fly tying desk.

Opry99er Its a "Scripto-Vu"... This one dates to somewhere between 1963-1967 based on the markings.

It is pretty cool... I'd like to have another one, so I don't have to use Grandpa Jack's...

albow I think that's a Ronson lighter. There were racks of them at the gas station.

Opry99er Found this today too... Grandma gave it to me after I uncovered it.

It was my great step-grandfather's lighter. (Not sure if that's the proper title for him... He was my grandfather's step father)

Anyway, that's an actual fly in the lighter fluid reservoir. Pretty wicked...

Opry99er One stove gone.

Opry99er Okay guys... I have 6 of these Coleman camping stoves... all in working condition, some need to be cleaned up a bit. This one is an example of what most look like... little dirty, but complete and in good condition.

I also have 5 mopeds inside this van... They've been inside the van and out of the elements for years... Grandpa liked tinkering with mopeds...

I think 2 of them have complete motors, the other 3 have motor mounts, but no motor. This picture is VERY difficult to make out, so I will try to get better pix next time I'm over there... Probably Sunday.

I also found this crazy ass chainsaw... I don't know jack about it, but there's barely a lick of plastic on the whole thing. My grandma thinks these things are collectible, but I'm not sure.

On the camping stoves, I'll take $25 a piece for them, or you can buy all 6 for $120.

Don't know enough about the mopeds, but if you're interested in them, come over, we will take them out, clean them up, and you can make an offer. We need them gone.

On the chainsaw... I have no idea if there's even any interest in it, but if you would like to see it, let me know... I'm sure we can come up with a good number for you and for gram.

Gracias...

Opry99er I suppose that is sound advice. I DO have a fishing knife already...

perhaps you are right... Thank you for the suggestion.

How cool will it be to pass that onto my son in perfect condition when he has a son of his own?
