Backwater Bass Fishing

I had the itch to set into some Bass on May 1st but the season wasn't quite open yet in MN. So I dropped my kayak in the Mississippi River Pool 2 Backwaters where there is a year long Catch & Release Bass season. I covered some water and tried a handful of different baits when I realized that the wanted a slow moving Texas Rig. I used a Missile Baits Baby D-Bomb with 3/0 EWG Hook and a 3/16 Tungsten bullet weight for all of the fish that were caught in this video.
