Given the great turn out we had on the two swaps last winter, I wanted to get everyone thinking about another swap in the up coming months.
With the weather finally moving in, my thoughts are revolving around what bugs I want to learn to tie, and what I need to tie.
Also, we just need to get the fly fishing section bumpin' again! I am guilty of not having hardly any reports up this year- its been a pretty good one but, like always, I did not get out or explore nearly as much as I planned!
FCC I hear you about getting back in the mood of tying!! Its been hard with the warm weather to even think about tying, but finally some winter weather has arrived!!
Hmm decisions.....do you tie what you need or do you tie up something new. For me I lost a ton of streamers this past fall and I think it's time to restock. I've never tied anything articulated and may have to give that a shot.
Like you I had hoped to get out more, but something always seems to come up. Such as life I guess.
Maybe a streamer swap will be in the cards this winter? I know I have been playing around with different kinds of streamers- both single and articulated.
I am down for more swaps this winter after the holidays. A streamer one could be interesting. As long and we keep them simple.. I will feel bad is someone ties up articulated, dumbell eyed, lips tits and ******* streamers that take 15 minutes to tie and I send say traditional north platte specials or meyers micro leaches...
Morning all, I would be good with a SWAP if we have enough.
