rfideng Wow, that is surprisingly life-like.

JohnnyO19 Don't see how it would be any different from using live bait (where legal). 35 bucks a pop, you better tie good knots :-)

Anteroman I agree. But deadsticking is a common practice for many fisherman as the 2nd or third pole, and especially tip ups. I could also see a hookless version of this used as a spearing decoy in northern fish shanty’s

waterfowler For many of the same unknown reasons why many things are determined illegal....government.

Example I would compare is motorized waterfowl decoys, illegal is several states but not all states....and that is a federally controlled wildlife.

longdraw Why would it be illegal?

Dakota Looks awesome. I want one. I think they would be considered illegal here though. Still might be fun for the kids in the bathtub.

Some lures catch fish, other lures catch fishermen.

Animated Lure

Anyone try one of these yet? Interested to hear any results. I think it could work nice for early season (ice off) pike from the shore and maybe even walleyes when they head into the shallows.

Little pricey for my liking, but intriguing.Probably illegal in some states but not really sure.
