Yeah, I know. One of my nephew reminds me of it quite frequently. But he has yet to beat me at arm wrestling. He used to say that it was "short man strength." Now he says it's "old man strength." What's next? Senior citizen strength? But he'll get me before that...

Interesting... I'd be interested in the underlying souces if you have that handy. I could see how being married could be associated making it to an older age. Some of it is probably more correlation than causation: more stable people are more like to to be married and live longer. Some of it maybe more causation: married people have more resources and have access to better healthcare. They have each other to give each other to do lists, which keep them busy and in shape. You'd think that would work in favor of men, but I guess it's actually the opposite...
