Re: Lab found in brighton

Chipping your pet always seems ridiculously overpriced when you first do it. I know the sticker shock all too well - 2 animals at the same time, ouch! (add this to a spay and neuter, ugh!)

Explaining to your wife and kids after a pet goes missing why you didn't costs a lot more. Kicking yourself around for it does, too.

And if your dog is an expensive breed, why wouldn't you? It's a lot better when you get your buddy back.

Glad to hear Lily got home, safe and sound. Thanks for being a Good Samaritan, dieseldoctor.

Quick update.....I talked to the shelter yesterday and Lily was picked up by her owners in a few hours after they scanned her and found she was microchipped! Thanks for the heads up HeavyC.....I looked up a few things on puppymill owners and what some do...It's just horrid. Owning a dog is a privledge and anyone caught doing bs like that should be stripped of that privledge and rot in a jail cell.

I sure hope it isn't one of those mills dumping dogs off. I have read a couple of article recently about how bad it is getting in northern Colorado right. There are bulletins going around Greeley about it, and has been in the paper here a couple of times. I have also seen an article about it in FTC too.

...right thing to do if it was suffering!

Re: Lab found in brighton

Shes the sweetest dog, but has some serious hip issues. I would have liked to keep her until I could find her owner but I'm assuming the old girl needs some kind of meds...So I called animal control. There going to come get her, check for a chip, let the vet take a look at her...Then hopefully the owners get her.

She was well loved and I'm sure greatly missed even if she was only gone for a day...So I'm sure the owners first step will be checking shelters. I'll be calling a couple times a day to make sure she gets home....If for some reason the owners don't find her I'll adopt her....I'm almost 100 percent sure that won't happen.

Make sure your dogs have their collars on!!!

Lab found in brighton

Hey guys there was a lab hanging outside my house today. She's just the sweetest thing as I started getting dark I was afraid she was gonna wonder off and get ran over. I live in Brighton east farms so if you or someone you know is looking for their missing family member she's safe and waiting. If you can call with an accurate description I would love to reunite her with her family. Gonna make some posters for the neighborhood.

Thanks 303 957 8466
