Most good ponds are south of denver.

My god man.

You didn't need the er visit... A pair of needlenose pliers and a strong threshhold of pain is all you need. I've barbed my face before too. It effing sucks.

And if you're lookin for ponds, best advice is to get a fishing close to home booklet. Look north and west.

Glad you are OK, welcome back, and keep on grinding.

figured you guys would like this.. just spent a week in the Florida Keys a few weeks ago. Thats what reinvigorated my fishing passion. got a LOT of great fishing in. I was night fishing for bait so i could attempt to shark fish, and I thought my hook was snagged on coral or something, so i yanked pretty hard.. well, it wasn't snagged at all, just had a lot of lead on it, and it flew out of the water and caught my FACE!!! Had to go to the ER and have them take it out. It wasn't a huge hook, but it was in there good..

im back, just moved to denver..

Hey everyone, I haven't posted on here in years.. used to lurk on here all the time, and fished almost every day. But after having a bunch of gear stolen, and never having replaced it, I kind of lost the passion. Got pretty lazy actually. Anyways, when I used to post, I lived in Fort Collins and had a handful of go-to spots. I recently moved to Denver. All I know of is Cherry Creek..

Anyone know of some smaller secluded bass ponds near around Denver? I like chucking lures for small and large mouth bass. Pulled out what I have left, and am planning on buying a new rod tomorrow. Just not sure where to go. Thanks for your help. Glad to be back on the forum.
