I think you're going to find the weight isn't the issue that the blade drag will be on the uplift. Another consideration is the rod system you will use.

KM,

I just bought a machine, it came w/ 21 feet of heavy line. I added one string of cow bells and one string willow leaf blades. So I had two inline. I'm thinking of adding more too, not sure yet.

pop gear know how

In my third year of my quest to catch a fish at 11mile, I was going to put some pop gear into my arsenal and construct a jigging machine. My question is, how many of those strings o' cowbells or other pop gear do you string together and how deep do you drop them down to attract kokanee? I was thinking probably 3 strands jigged at the same depth I'm fishing but I really don't have a clue. Please help.
