Re: Dillion Res?

I would like to try and land some kokes at dillion, so any more info on that would be helpful.

Re: Dillion Res?

I have fished dillon many times and actually done well in the snake river inlet, 8-12 feet of water is correct. believe it or not I actually caught a spawning salmon there 6 days ago. But it has been a really productive spot for the salmon and rainbows. I have been using castmasters and shrimp.
I would like to find out where those arctic char in that lake are though?

Re: Dillion Res?

We fished the little bay north of the Dillon marina about three weeks ago and caught maybe 40 small stocker rainbows. Nothing over 12", but non-stop action using small yellow or orange jigs tipped with half of a meal worm. Great place to take kids ice fishing.

Re: Dillion Res?

Try the snake river inlet, Very shallow 3-8ft for the kokes and a wee bit deeper for trout. waxies, mealies always a safe bet.
