Allright, here it is, late at night, getting ready and planning to go to Green Mountain in the morning, to try for some kokanee off my pontoon. Bought waxies, one pink Taz, dusted off the 'toon, fill with air, get fishing poles ready, load up waders, flippers, life vest, yeah, baby! Went to find my plastic utility box with all my lures I used for icefishing kokes. Gone! Searched the whole garage, tore it apart. Denied. I'm talking almost $80.00 worth of Swedish Pimples, Kastmasters, Buckshot Rattle spoons, jigs, Cleos, Z-rays,...only thing I can think of, is on my last icefishing trip of the year there, it fell off my sled. Now I have one pink taz! Might have to change my plans for tomorrow.  Anybody find a box last March on the ice?

Look on the bright side......if you can come up with 80 to 100 bucks you get to go shopping for lots of cool lures!   Gotta be lots of new styles and colors since you last bought your old ones.   I feel for you though. Moment of silence......bless the box of lures.....may it still be catching fish. :D

I found a pretty expensive novel on the ice at Granby once( the name escapes me, by Grissom). It had a woman's name, address, and phone # inside the cover, so I was able to contact her when I got back home. Phoned her and her hubby came by & picked it up. Maybe we should all identify our equipment, at least as much as is practical. I'm willing to bet that more fishermen are honest than not(except when we're telling "fish" stories) Sorry about your loss. I'd 'a probably been kicking myself in the a_ _.
