kirbydog The old DOW ws great at doing dog and pony shows and acting interested in input from the public but I always got the impression all the decisions had been made long before any meeting I attended.

I hope I'm wrong and they will actually increase fry and fingerling stockings in selected lakes. I miss the old days at Pueblo when I would catch wipers most every time out just fishing for other species.

Heres a dumb question-are striped bass as difficult to raise as the hybrids? I lived on Texoma for 2 years and although they had natural spawns in some years, the striper population was supplemented by stocking. And thats a hugh lake-100,000 ac and over 60 miles long. Striper capital of the world-I could go out most any day and catch stripers from 5 to 15 lbs. Those fish were crazy strong.

TthePikester ^^^^ Yep, I scheduled the night off from work to be at this meeting and right now as busy as we are I might pay for it tomorrow night when I go back. Screw it!!!

Dave M glad to see positive change. saw a facebook post about it and kind of got the impression they were blowing smoke up your ass and being dismissive. I would have made it but I had to work, story of my effing life.

We'll be lucky if 25,000 of those fry survive. 25000 is better than nothing though

pistoldog A very big thank you to all who attended. Work unfortunately took me out of state, but I appreciate all who showed up and made their voices heard.

And a personal thanks to Neal for starting this whole process. KUDOS!
