Dakota Win the lottery, or move to a different state...

I would support that.

lvrider id sign that and almost anything that supports the populations of fish we have.

does a pike guy have to win the lottery to get a pike lake?

CPW thinking about banning wading in clear creek during brown trout spawn

..even if it's to protect trout, I would cosign the eff out of this as well as anyone else who enjoys fishing Georgetown lake.

I talked to a ranger who lived right on the creek in Georgetown. from what he explained to me, according to him and a few rangers who work the area... they fully recognize the problem with people trying to harvest the fish, and feel that much more damage is done with people wading and stomping on the redds. they also acknowledge that Georgetown is unique with other Put-n-take fisheries, that the brown trout population in the lake is self sustaining despite the constant pressure. He said he is trying to suggest it to the local biologist... but as with all things CPW, it's a long process to get them to acknowledge and make changes.

opinions? ideas?
