albow Even a streamer on a klouser head or maribou jig or a tube jig dragged shallow, stirring up little puffs of mud More important than exactly matching a real craw is being in the right spot and "acting" like a craw.

x2. Trolling this lure up there works very well. I've even caught 40" pike on them.

A weedless bottom? I don't see how you wouldn't get hung up constantly unless it was sandy or maybe rip rap?

jkaboom I like the rebel hard body craw small cranks; they do fairly well there also and only dive about 4-6' which is perfect from shore or trolling shallow.

Grumpie. Go to sportsmans and in the 99cent grub area with all the 1" chit they have mini craws. A very very hot item for me in early spring.

Trout fishing with Crawfish Pattern- What size?

What is the recommended size crawfish patterns for fishing for trout? I was watching gulls the other week eating them 4-5" long at Eleven Mile. But should I go smaller for trout fishing?
