Did a drive by while running linehaul to gypsum this weekend. here ya go.
Georgetown is lidded with skim ice.
dillon is wide open as i saw from the rest area.
that one private pond along 119 by nederland has a firm lid.
officers gulch has ice, but is unsafe AF. half the lake is open still.
the copper mountain ponds have sketchy to skim ice.
black lakes above vail looked to be pretty safe. saw a few holes out there already.

very interested in trying out ice fishing at st vrain. it is close and easy for me to get too. question how do i know when we can fish there, and what ponds to fish in. don't care what i catch as long is it is something.

I'll meet you there Dallas we can go look for bears. I forget what's it's called but because of lack of oxygen pretty much all of the fish are within 12 fow during the winter
