Got caught in some weather this weekend and didn't get my travel cover put on... and you guessed it.... BUSTED windshield on the passenger side of the boat.

Thank God for insurance.

Anyone know a shop in Colorado Springs that can put a new one in??

This topic comes up on the walleyecentral.com forum occasionally. I don't know what make/model/year of boat that you have but, if your windshield is made by Taylor Made and that specific windshield is still produced and not considered obsolete by them, they often only sell a full windshield and not just a portion of it. Reported prices are usually in the $2000 range. I would contact a dealer for your specific boat for additional information and the install. Your insurance company may be helpful in finding the windshield and an approved installer.
Good luck.

After the electronics fiasco the is no way in hell I'll deal with that dealership again. I'd rather not have a windshield. Lund makes a great boat. But, the dealership I dealt with isn't good at getting things done right. I think I found a shop here in C.S. that will take care of it. Now I just have to wait on the adjuster to get the insurance part taken care of.

Sorry to hear this Ninja. I got caught last Sunday in heavy hail going down to Pueblo near the Speedway and thought I was going to have a busted windshield or torn seats. I made out OK with no damage.

Can you please PM me which shop was good/bad in the Springs? I also have a Lund.

Hope you are able to find correct glass replacement for your boat.

My 1999 Monark has the left side of the windshield replaced with plexiglass, by previous owner. Monark was bought by Starcraft. As far as I know the glass is NLA. I'd love to find a nice replacement glass but the plexiglass has been a decent solution.

Carnage is cool. we've all had some.
Not cool for me; especially when I got home today to find Angie's car trashed, the house siding looks like someone shot it with a canon, who knows what kind of **** happened to my roof and my Dirtymax was a casualty as well. Thousands and thousands of $$$$ in carnage.. F&$kin Hail Sucks!!!!! But, at least no one was hurt here.

And it's only Monday.... Kinda feeling like the guy in the Flinstone's that has a rain-cloud of his head even when it's sunny.
