Just curious if anyone knows if the kokes are headed out of 11 mile yet. Went out last year and had a blast, just trying to get the timing right. Thanks!!

Tightline, your probably not going to see a whole lot this year. They are all dead!! Gill lice..
They are not even putting up the koke nets this year.. I suggest you look else where for spawning kokes, big time bummer. Everybody has fun with those things when they are running, but like I said, Not this year!

i have a hard time seeing how the gill lice killed all the kokes, the kokes i have been geting this year from gm and the ones i caught last winter all had lice , this years spawners have it also , some more then others , but they still lived four years with lice , there had to be another factor in what happended to the kokes at elevenmile ,so far i have seen lice in the kokes from gm , williams fork , cheesemen , the lakes without are granby , shadow mountain , willow creek , dillion , and blue mesa

Thats a good point kokeking.. I guess i jumped to conclusions there. It is true that the numbers have dropped dramaticaly, partly because of gill lice and partly because of what???

truth is that the dow still is not putting up the nets and the run is going to be very weak at the stream. I have also caught kokes from GM that had lice, and all were actually very healthy.

To add to kokekings post, The kokes on the east from taylor in almont were also lice-free.. I sure hope this crap doesnt spread around to all the less infected areas.

I have to agree on this. Am amazed that so many kokes made it thru the year at Green Mtn. after seeing how many gill lice they had during ice season. I don't know why the numbers are so low at 11 mile.
