I talked to Rudy last year and I guess the fish guy he has now is not the same one he had years ago ( late 90's, which was the last one I had done). But that's too bad the brookie didn't come out the way you wanted. Yea I would love to see a pic of that brookie!

Re: Colorado Fish Taxidermy

Last year I had a brookie mounted by Tanglewood. Rudy is nice guy, but I would not take another fish to him. The fish was several months late and all of the bottom fins had been clipped and look uniform. The fish looks good, but the fins being clipped definitely makes this big brookie look unnatural and was not how it was given to him. My kid caught it and was very happy, so I didn't want to spoil his moment or have him look at this trophy brookie and think about the fins. If I get a chance I will try and post a picture.

Also I wanted to let everyone know that Kim Evans of EchoHawk did an excellent job on the big game mounts that I have given to him. I would not hesitate to recommend him for big game. No experience with him though on fish.

My two cents - Tim

Yep. That's okay. Taxidermy is an art and people have different tastes and preferences in fish mounts, just like painting, sculpture, music, or any other art form. I like your and Jamie's mounts, too. Very nice!

Go talk with jeff he is the very best he has won numerous national titles

if you go and check out his work I promise you won't be disappointed.

We have all seen those mounts that aren't done right and look cheesy

more like they belong on the wall of a red lobster resteraunt.

You want to be proud to hang this on your wall.

The guy is and artist. Your fish will become a piece of art not just a

dead fish on the wall! His fish look alive. He also is competitively priced.
