i;ve heard alot of bad stories about that lake motorhomes going threw the ice and 2 years ago my friend from work went thru the ice on his snowmobile he was found on sonar the next day on a ledge in 80 fow they said if he fell off that ledge they might have never found him i'll stay away from that lake

Going to Twin reminds me of being back home in Minnesota.Always people driving out there.Obviously,at your own risk.Mid Jan. to mid Mar. no problem.Started to drive out on April fools once,told my uncle no,he says yes,three feet out,dropped a tire through.would love to here a twin report,need to return to my used to be favorite ice hole.

I would never drive a car/truck out on twin lakes. Too many warm springs that come into that lake. You'd prob be ok with a ATV/snowmobile, but I'd drill test holes as you go.

twin lakes conditions?

anyone been to twin lakes and thick enough to drive across, i.e. atv, snowmobile, small pickup, semi truck?
