Re: Fathers Day trip help

Small red colored flies from a bobber worked this past weekend. When trolling, try the far west shoreline with popgear and worms. It has always worked for rainbows and an occasional brown. Taylor is such a beeautiful place that it is worth the trip even when the fishing is not good. ( It is good right now).

Fathers Day trip help

Hey all, So I am taking a 3 generation trip to Taylor lake this upcoming weekend for fathers day. The last few years we have had some trouble catching fish, I have fished taylor some but mostly later in the season (all from the shore line). We will be on the shore and might rent a boat. I was just wondering if i could pick up a few tips from you all so I can try to get my Grandpa and dad on some fish!! Any info helps!? Also I have never fished from a boat there, are there better places to go than others? thanks for any info!
