Okay, I know it is still a little early but when do the catfish start running. I am ready to chase a few more since I caught some when I visited down south.
You might hear mixed reports on this one depending on the body of water...I usually dont start fishing for them until it warms up consitantly, but you can catch them year around i hear. I start targeting them from shore starting in May or June....but if you are the hard core type you can try earlier. my best months for them are July-Sept.
i usually fish for them fairly shallow in the summer months, but ive seen guys pulling them out of deeper stuff when its still cold out....im no catfish expert though, so someone else here might have some better advice...
Thanx Rottal, I am not a hard core but I do like to catch them. I am not much on trout but I have caught a few here in evergreen. I like the warm water fishing better. Thanx again.
