Re: A word of caution....

What gets me is they want to write speeding tickets but not do a thing about the bicyclers riding in the road when they have a bike trail all the way around the state park that is in better shape than the road.

Not on the shitty road! Man with all the money that lake generates you would think they could put in a decent road.
If you go 40 or 50 on that road you might launch your buddy's boat off your hitch!!! BE CAREFUL!

Re: A word of caution....

A friend of mine got a ticket last year going into North Sterling State Park. I understand enforceing the speed limit, but a warning can go a long way. And 5 MPH is silly slow.

McFish,

At 5 miles an hour I could get out of your truck and walk to the inspection area and get there before you.

Hey, when are we going?

Re: A word of caution....

I remember many years ago I was puilled over at Pueblo and was dumbfounded that the ranger had radar I have not seen them in recent years be so heavy handed. If they start out with warnings thats OK but if they just start slapping out fines then they are real *utt****ers and it is all about generating rev.
