Re: Rap X

I use 6 pound test for walleyes so probably 8 ft. sounds about right. I think this will be my new walleye crankbait.

Re: Rap X

The box says they run 4-6 feet deep. Of course this can vary if use more line, add a bottom bouncer etc.

Re: Rap X

When I was playing with them on pueblo it looked about 8' on 10 lb line. It does seem to vary depending on how you work the bait. I had standing on end sometimes.

Re: Rap X

How deep do these dive? If they dive deep enough...they sound like they will be my new go to crank for walleyes. How much are they a pop? $6.49?

Re: Rap X

I used them at Pueblo Sat. no luck but this fishing sucked anyway. They should catch fish amazing action and cast a mile. I think this is rapalas answer to the pointer.

Re: Rap X

I had 2 Yellow Wipers (carp) hit em at Frank Easement ponds. I didn't land them, but at least I know fish will hit em. Great swimming action.

Re: Rap X

I bought 3 last week, (oooooh Shiny!) tried them at chatfield this week, as you know the fishing is very slow there. The Guy from Gander who talked me into them told me they are very good. I guess the test will be to see how they do side by side with other lures when the fish are biting.

Rap X

Does anyone have any opinions on the Rapala X lures?
