Road over the pass is as good as the road from Almont as they have 9 miles of the road from Almont torn up and is all gravel. I would take the pass if I was going.

Kyle, keep those PFD's on or very close! One of the scariest moments of my life was on that lake, it can get ugly in a hurry up there.

Was decent for macks and browns last weekend until they dumped 6 truck loads of rainbows into the lake. It slowed down quite a bit after that, but you could catch all the rainbows you wanted. Water temp was around 47 degrees already and the lake was down 12 feet or so. Boat inspections started 2 weeks ago.
